Flower Bulbs, Rhizomes, and Corms

Flower bulbs, rhizomes, and corms are inspected by certified nursery professionals to ensure they are robust, healthy, and ready to be planted in your garden.  

Live Plants

Live plants are rinsed to their bare roots. Then they are inspected from the tips of the leaves, the crown, and to the end of the roots.  Ensuring that the plant and roots are pest & disease free.  Only robust healthy live plants with strong roots are shipped to Ruby Acorn’s customers. 

Sterile Shipping Materials 

All shipping materials are sterilized and inspected before use in the shipping process.  Especially materials that are touching the flower bulbs and live plants.  All those are stored in sealed sterile containers.  

Sterile Live Plants

Live plants are rinsed to their bare roots and then prepared for shipping using inert materials.  No soil is used in shipping. All shipping materials for the live plants has been sterilized.  Ensuring that they are free of pests & disease.  

All materials used for Live Plants meet USPS, UPS, and FedEx postal delivery guidelines. 

Sustainability

Ruby Acorn ships using the most environmentally sustainable materials we can find.  All the boxes, bags, and shipping materials can be recycled.
