Native to the Mediterranean, Ornithogalum Arabicum or 'Arabian Starflower' features lovely clusters of fragrant dainty white star shaped flowers with a black ovary. Flowers are one inch long and each bulb will produce one to two stems. An ideal choice for your landscape, her cut flowers are exquisite.
She performs best in full sun in warm climates. She dislikes "wet feet' and requires well-draining soil.
Storage . . . Store flower bulbs in a cool dry spot with good air circulation and low humidity until you are ready to plant them. Most flower bulbs should tolerate temperatures between 38-70 F. However, you will want to protect them from heat, frost and strong sunlight. Your flower bulbs should be firm to the touch.
