Hosta 'Night Before Christmas' Live Plant

A stunning versatile must-have addition to your garden, Hosta 'Night Before Christmas' features huge, green leaves with striking creamy-white centers that change to pure white by midsummer.  A real eyepopper!  She sprouts beautiful pale lavender tubular flowers on 34" scapes in mid to late summer.  She really is an excellent choice for your garden. Hummingbirds and songbirds cannot resist her!  

She prefers moist, well-drained, highly organic soils.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.  High-filtered or dappled sunlight is necessary for clean healthy growth.  Morning sun is acceptable and will help intensify her leaf colors, but hot afternoon sun will turn 'Night Before Christmas' into 'Nightmare Before Christmas.'  So, keep her away from hot afternoon sun.  She is most at home in shady, woodland settings.
