A scrumptious easy to grow addition to your garden! 'Eversweet' (Everbearing Strawberry) produces large, very sweet fruits throughout spring, summer and fall. She is very hardy and holds up well in hot growing conditions, performing well all over the USA.
Strawberries are best planted in a sunny location with fertile, well-drained soil. Although they will tolerate semi-shade. Just keep in mind, yield will be less than those grown in the full sun. Strawberries will not tolerate 'soggy feet.'
One bite and you will fall head over heals in love with the sweet delicious berries. Superb for eating fresh or freezing.
'Eversweet' grow very well in strawberry jars, hanging baskets, raised beds, or flower pouches. Use a well-aerated organic plant mix. Plant your Strawberries in early spring and water them often through July. Be sure to spread the roots when you plant your bare roots. The plant will spread faster if the blossoms are removed so that more runners can be produced. The second year, allow the buds to stay so that fruit can be produced. Because strawberries have shallow roots, they should be fertilized during the growing season.
We package our bare roots carefully and ship them quickly from our greenhouse to you. They arrive safely, ready to plant and thrive in your garden! Because we want your plant to thrive, we include detailed planting instructions with your purchase to help you get started.
