Strawberries are best planted in a sunny location with fertile, well-drained soil. Although they will tolerate semi-shade. Just keep in mind, yield will be less than those grown in the full sun. Strawberries will not tolerate 'soggy feet.'

'Flamingo' grows very well in pots and baskets. Use a well-aerated organic plant mix.
